Our shop is equipped with saws, grinding wheels, polishers, flat laps and other equipment to cut and polish your stones.

We are going to try new flexible shop hours. If you would like to use the lapidary shop, please call one of the following and they will arrange a time to open the shop for you at a mutually agreeable time: Weekends: We can always find someone to help you with weekend hours. Weekday evenings: Usually we can open the shop on weekday evening hours. Weekdays: Daytime hours are sometimes possible--call if you are interested. Henry Almaraz, shop coordinator
A fee of $2 per hour is asked to cover maintenance & supplies.
Cutting rough is available for club members at no charge.
Cabbing and carving classes are set up when the demand is there for them.
